Urban Community Connections (UCC) in partnership with the city of Kansas City NTDF, proudly announces the 10th Annual Project Cinderella’s Closet & Man of the Hour Initiative, set to take place at the Just Off-Broadway Theatre, Thursday, March 13, 2025, and Friday, March 14, 2025. This celebrated community initiative affords high school juniors and seniors with AT NO COST formal attire for prom and graduation, ensuring they step into their milestone moments with confidence and style.

For many students, the cost of formalwear can be a barrier to fully experiencing these once-in-a-lifetime celebrations. By offering free, high-quality dresses, suits, and accessories, UCC is removing financial obstacles and fostering a sense of empowerment, self-worth, and belonging. Over the past decade, this initiative has helped thousands of students look and feel their best during these significant milestones.

Exclusive High School Shopping Experience & General Admission

In an exciting partnership with area high schools—including Central High School, Raytown School District, Hickman Mills School District, Northeast High School, and De La Salle High School—students will enjoy an exclusive boutique shopping experience tailored to their needs.

Exclusive High School Shopping Times: Thursday, March 13, 2025, and Friday, March 14, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

General Admission for All Juniors & Seniors: —any male or female high school junior or senior, regardless of school affiliation, is welcome to shop at the boutique at no cost. Thursday, March 13, 2025, and Friday, March 14, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM
