The Kansas City Symphony is offering a special community concert with 100 % of the proceeds benefiting the fine art programs.

In addition to the performance itself, the Kansas City Symphony will also work with students in an open rehearsal during the day prior to the public performance. Center School District offers a comprehensive arts program to expose students to a wide variety of art including music, theater, and visual arts. Programs begin in elementary school with all students receiving art instruction on a regular basis, including the opportunity to create their own works of art. Performance-based activities include band, choral music, a variety of theatrical performances each year, and a wide range of visual arts experiences including public exhibitions of student artwork.
